General FAQs
What does YomoMedia mean?
Yomomedia stands for Your Mobile Media.
Is YomoMedia a webservice or a mobile service?
It's both. There is a web application and a smartphone application. The
website is a full featured feed reader and organizer. The Windows Mobile client is an installed application that downloads content at pre-determined times so you don't have to wait for it to stream.
The
iPhone application runs through the Safari browser on the phone...no downloads, no installs.
Do I need a smartphone to use YomoMedia?
No, a smartphone isn't required. The YomoMedia website is a fully
functional web reader and organizer and can be used by itself. But, if you have an iPhone or a Windows Mobile phone you can
experience being completely informed, up-to-date and wireless.
How much does YomoMedia cost?
Free. Zero. Zed. Zilch. Nada. Please note that while use of YomoMedia or our smartphone software is completely free,
downloading data to a smartphone requires data connectivity from your wireless carrier, which may charge fees. We recommend you get an
unlimited data plan to enjoy YomoMedia without worrying about costs.
Can I watch video with YomoMedia?
