Do I need a data plan? What is that? How much does it cost?
To use a smartphone with YomoMedia, an unlimited data plan from your carrier is recommended. Content subscribed to with YomoMedia is downloaded over-the-air (OTA) with your wireless data connection, which often incurs a separate charge from carriers. Syndicated content may contain audio and video, which are much larger files that may increase your data connection time. Please check with your carrier. We suggest an unlimited data plan, for one monthly price you can download as much content as you want.

You will need at least 1MB free memory on your mobile phone, mobile Internet (WAP) settings, and a wireless data plan.
Can I manage my content from my phone?
Absolutely. Once you register and install the application on the phone, you can manage your content from either the phone or the website.
How much memory will my subscriptions take up on my phone?
The amount of memory usage depends on the number of subscriptions you designate to download, and the size of media files contained within them. You may choose to download specific feeds and media files, or set a limit as a percentage of your total memory. A high capacity storage card is recommended to allow playback of as many of your favorite articles, videos and podcasts. See the
Mobile User Guide for more information.
